Our Story

Kumi district in the eastern part of Uganda is a land that has registered as steady annual population growth of 4.5%. This growth in population created a need for more vocational training, life skills, and leadership development for young people, as these services were few.

Because of that, Ask8 Skills Centre for Development was born. We registered the organisation on 3rd March 2020, and we provide our services through the following main strategic interventions:
Strategic Objective 1: Provide Vocational Skills Training
Strategic Objective 2: Education & Workforce development
Strategic Objective 3: Sexual and Reproductive Health
Strategic Objective 4: Provide a platform to boost Social Entrepreneurship.
